GM SINGLE SPRING BRAKE TOOL

• Releases tension on large GM single brake springs so brakes can be serviced.
• Several larger, late model GM cars use the heavy single brake spring. The spring tension must be released to disassemble the brake to replace brake shoes, emergency brake cable, or service the brake cylinder. This tool engages the single brake spring and quickly releases the spring tension. The tool holds the spring in the open position so both hands are free to service the brake.

Applications:

• 1991 to current GM H body: Pontiac Bonneville, Buick LeSabre and Olds Delta 88
• 1992 to current GM C and U body: Buick Electra, Olds 98, Cadillac Fleetwood, Cadillac DeVille, Chevy Lumina APV, Pontiac Trans Sport and Olds Silhouette
